Frankly - Yes There are too many of these so called VITAL conferences seminars most of whom don't inhabit the real world.
The object is to make money!
Mind you that's the primary object of aviation as well - the only caveat is - IF You're not safe you won't make money- but I don't need to spend $645 for that piece of wisdom.
I'll be at the NBAA instead!

Sheesh, compare that to a weekly income in GA! You can buy a T.V. for that sort of money, and really learn something!!
