I flew with Deccan all last summer out of BOM. Very rainy. Get a good umbrella. Pay the f/o to do the walk-around. Carry xtra fuel for holding.
Stay away from the lightning. If the runway is underwater go find some other place to land. Watch out for all the dogs, people and plastic water bottles on the apron and taxi-ways. The ATR guys might want to get a bottle of Rain-X.
