Hi Everyone,

Wikipedia shows CX has 4 A380 to be deliver but I cannot find any sources/relative informations other than there. Can anyone please confirm that and post relative sources?

Thanks

Don't believe everything wiki tells you it is well know that it is unreliable.

The answer is no, none on order or likely to be at this time.

Where does Wiki say that? I checked the entries for both CX and A380 (in both English and Chinese), and there is no mention of these orders. The only airline that has four 380s on order is Etihad out of Abu Dhabi. EY != CX. Both Airbus and Boeing are said to be courting CX with their next-gen widebodies, but the company has said nothing.

CX has a different approach than airlines like SQ or QF, where they actually need aircrafts with longer range and/or higher capcity (ie, sydney to london, singapore to new york)... CX would rather have an extra flight, more flexible schedule, (ie, 4 flights daily to heathrow, they would rather operate 2 A340-300, 1 at 0900, 1 at 1430 than 1 A380 just once)

so what i'm saying is that A380 will not be in their plan.
