Hi all,

I fly a 737 in the UK and I'm off with the wife to Tanzania and Rwanda around Christmas for trecking and safaris. The two airlines providing internal flights will be Rwandair Express and PrecisionAir. A quick search of the internet seems to show that they are decent outfits with good safety record. Any opinions?

Thanks

Can vouch for Rwandan Express - pretty decent and reliable.

I will also vouch for Rwandaexpress.
However, I am not sure of their frequency. There may only be 3 legs a week from Tz TO Rwanda. Have you thought about KQ? With it's 3 maybe 4 times daily to TZ, you could go through NBO and then direct to Kigali after that. Not to mention, you will be on better equipment. Precision will have you on ATR's, possibly a LET410 to Entebbe, via Kisumu or somethng like that. I could be wrong. Enjoy your trip. I will be in Uganda at the same time

fly safe:hmm:

flew 4X with Precision Air last month within TZ, ATR outfit, often schedule change on short notice, service ok for african airlines, look more or less serious !
