Not the best one.
2 DHC6 ... 1 is flying ... no crew for the second on; they are not abble to keep them, either with money ! thanks for the canadian Ops guy, he help a lot to bring a horrible ambiance in AS.
The same for the DHC8 fleet as above.
And if you need vacation after 6 months or more, forget it !
And after 15 hours of duty time per day, 6 days a week  you ask for food from AS between flights; they will offer you only one sandwich per day ...
They take care of their crew ...
If you like to fight with ops and have a dog's life, go to Air Service :bored:
Either Gabon is a nice country :)
If you are coming to Libreville give me a call :ok:

There has already been an entire thread devoted to this topic, last year:

Air Service Gabon, Aircraft Gone (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=224183)

Or possibly you really are referring to an airline run by a crested Gibon? :}

What about the CRJ that were expected this year.
Did they arrive or still waiting for them?
On a technical point of view I've been told that Air Service fleet is reliable and that there are worst airlines in Africa.
Is it untrue?

CRJ: they were suppose to arrived two months ago ... crew are in training for the rating in Canada, then it will arrive one day.
It's not the worst airline, Avirex is much worth; but the 15 hours duty time per day is :yuk: and 6 days a week ! they spoiled you; dog's life.

From an external point of view I would say that the airline has a good reputation but I was not aware that the pilots were used like that.
I've applied 6 months ago and been offered an immediate start on the DHC6.
Unfortunately I couldn't do it.
For the CRJ
Has the airline hired new crews or retrained DASH 8 ones ?
