Is it the same person who appears in the Aviation Leathercraft Website, promoting Air Support Flight Jackets?

If the organisation you worked for had to advertise on the telly for funding, how secure in your job would you feel?

Yes, its definately Neil! He was one of my 'back-to-backs' when I was lucky enough to be at NWAA in Blackpool.

Slightly OT, but is it SOP for drivers (airframe) to wear Hi-Vis jackets when flying? One of the joys of getting rid of the old yellow PSJ's was to do away with the reflections in the instruments: I would imagine that a fluro yellow jacket in a modern cockpit would be even worse?

Johnny Lad,

It has been some time since you attended a UK Aerodrome it seems. One "MUST" wear that high vis vest or else commit a Mortal Sin. It is not required to fly but one must get to and from the bird and that is within the purview of the Jobsworth Regime.

I wonder how many lives have been saved by that bit of wisdom?

And so were Kent, Surrey and Sussex by Yorkshire who had one November 1st 2006. And I believe that Great North had one even before that
