On another forum I read that the A-10 Mk 2 Warthogs have been performing well in Afghanistan recently.
Having seen the Hogs performing at close quarters several times on the Barry Goldwater ranges in Arizona, I cannot help thinking that the RAF would have performed admirably with a couple of squadrons of A-10s in CAS.
Is it too late to train some guys up, there are many Hogs just waiting for a good pilot to fly them out of the Boneyard.
