Flying Mechanic

I was wondering is there any one out there who has worked as a Pilot/Mechanic(or Engineer)on Business Jets.I hope to get into Biz Jets that way,and would appreciate info from people who are doing it or have done it in the past.What sort of experience levels etc.I am just off to the states to do my FAA ATPL, I hold a A&P,and have 2000 hours.Any help info would be great.
