I'm curious if any asian carriers have rules against tattoos for prospective pilots (not visible in uniform). I know that in Japan, 99% of onsen won't let you in with tattoos because of the yakuza stigma. What about JAL/ANA or another other asian carriers?
Aloha.

Not sure about tattoos but there was a guy in my last (Asian) company who had a nipple ring - reckoned it was a great for hanging his sunglasses from when he was on the beach!
The company didn't seem to mind.

was told that China might not grant a Medical if u have tattoos. They some how link tattoos with gangster. Also if u have to many unexplained scars on your body. They like that to a phyc disorder like hurting your self
