kiboko hotel is not so bad and you have a good resto below, also the harris bar beside, if you have a car you may have a drink to the Cameleon...and have a straight vodka for me

there is also the capital hotel, that's perhaps the most expensive but it's luxuious and have squash. The lilongwe hotel is badly located but i have been told that is not so bad for a standard budget.
If you have money the best is the capital hotel, otherwise kiboko is friendly and located in the center, when are you going to lilongwe?

I stayed in Capital on way down and Lilongwe on way back.

Capital - decent accom' with good food but no atmosphere or drinking buddies!

Lilongwe - very average accom typical African hotel menue and bar empty!

I would try one of the other places mentioned, life is too short to be a saddo and be on your own in the bar or at dinner! ;)
