G'day,

Did a quick forum search but couldn't find anything too recent on this topic.

I've got a mate who just moved over to oz, and is looking to do his PPL.

Can anyone recommend a decent school/club to train with in the Sydney area. Bearing in mind its PPL so not worried about job prospects, big shiny brochures or anything like that, just looking for good quality training, an experienced instructor and good availability of aircraft (preferably at a good rate!).:}

Any hints would be great!

Thanks.

I'd recommend http://www.schofields-flying-club.com.au/

Good availability of aircraft, good instrictors and friendly atmosphere.

I would try Clamback and Hennessey. Just finishing up on my PPL at the moment. Descent rates, excellent instructors and a nice laid back place to learn.:ok:

I have been training with Pacific Flight Services at Bankstown of late and can highly recommend them. Good aircraft, good rates and friendly atmosphere. I can personally recommend an instructor as well. PM me if you want further details.
