Hey Guys,

Realised that 2 x BAe 146-300 ex Ansett have had lease agreements. Looked briefly at the Ansett Airways website and they said 2 BAe 146 aircraft will be joining the fleet in September.

Any truth in this or a connection?

Just looked at their website, can't imagine Townsville-Mount Isa-Darwin would be a particularly profitable route, but they must have done their sums!:uhoh:

Oooooh I've got warm fuzzies.

I know it won't be the ansett and never will be the old ansett.

but if the service matches up and they carry the dignity... bring it on

Well done

Yes indeed, move on.

Just using the name does not mean it has any relation whatsoever! A bit like Compass & Compass 2. One had started to build a reputation amongst the punters & some loyalty from staff, the other was a shamefull smash & grab operation...I'll let you figure out which was which!:hmm:

Are these A/C going to be leased out? (Skywest?) or as Ansett?

I would have thought Aukland - Townsville - Darwin - Singapore in a 737-800 would be a better proposition.
