After a failed attempt at a new pay package by newcomer EVPO RH, many of the experienced captains are looking elsewhere for better pay along with perks usually associated with major airlines such as LOL insurance,paid overtime and some sort of provident or retirement fund, which up to now is not available at EY. Cabin crew and f/o's recently got a substantial pay rise but the new regime obviously don't value their experienced captains as shown in the new package. Maybe if the company increases the upgrades per month to 8, they may be able to keep all the planes in the air over the summer.:E Many captains came to EY with the hope of retiring from a growing and prosperous company that they helped to build, but since the beginning of the new year,and the new pay package, all the "team spirit" in the flt ops dept has gone. Good luck to all the new young captains:cool:

Didn't hear anything about anybody leaving because of lousy package. It's just talk...empty talk. Yes, they were hoping for a big improvement but the management knew better..:{

Yipeeee, we're (almost done) (maybe) with the engine fail thread now it's this one. Is this anything like all the people complaining about EK also? Complaining and leaving are two totally different things me thinks.:ugh:
