Any help in areas to live

Ciao tutti,
I am an expat Italian moving to easyJet in Milano. I have never lived in the north and was hoping to get some help from you, in suggesting areas within driving distance that I could move to with my family.

Varese area (35/45 km from Mxp) is a nice area to live, lakes,mountains, quiet people, and a good international school.

I would suggest stay near "Lago Maggiore", most of the pilots (even easyjet pilots) are living south of the Lake: Castelletto Ticino, Sesto Calende or Arona. It's around 20Km and max of 30 min driving, and also it's a wonderfull place to live,specially during summer 'cause you can go swimming in the lake.
If you send me a message I can contact some of them (pilots living in the area) and let you know about places to rent or even to buy.
If you stay nearby Malpensa Airport, well it's only 5 min driving but they ask more money for a rent and the places are not so good.
