Hi gents, any Air Philippines pilots care to enlighten me on your approach procedures to Naga Pili airport. I travel there regularly to my home, and found the VERY flat, high thrust-low energy approach a bit "different" to say the least, previous carrier PAL seemed to make a more conventional approach in the -300, as opposed to the type of approach you conduct in the -200...yes I am aware the runway is only 1000m and a bit long...cheers..

yeah...kinda liked the way the PAL guys did it in the -300..seemed a lot more like s stabilized approach to me...wondering what would happen if we sucked a bird into one of those jt-8's as we were dragging full flaps, and what seemed like most of the available thrust...and there is no lack of birds in the area either..:hmm:
