Hi

What would happen if after those 18 months that we have to do the 14 exams, one or more subject wasnīt done?

I know that the student is required to re-seat at all the exams, even those that were +75%, but what about the ground school? Are we required to attend to all the 600hours+ of ground school lessons, even for those subjects that the student done with success before? For those that werenīt done, it makes sense, but for the others that were done already with success and apparently the student knowīs well about the subject..soundīs quite boring and costly.

And what about the flight lessons? I donīt know how many hours are normally done after that time, but letīs say 100 hours.. We would have to start from the begining and learn to take off, land... all over again?

Thanks :)

You are not required to do all of the ground school training again, but you are required to do all of the exams again.

If your training was carried out in a school administered by the UK CAA then you must do a further 10% ground school training before retaking any of the exams. This is the equivalent of 2 weeks full time study. The exact nature of that study must be determined by your CGI.

It is possible that the authorities in other countries apply different interpretaions of the rules. The first thing that you should do is to discuss the matter with your CGI.

Retaking the ground school exams has no effect on your flying hours.
