I refer to this, now closed, thread:

http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=194784&page=2&highlight=lorne+white

I knew the Pilot, he was a good friend of mine. I was hoping to read an accident report at some stage. I know it won't be able to make a conclusive finding based on what people closer to the accident at the time have told me and some information that the investigator himself told me before I lost his contact detail. More then anything I suppose it is just for some closure for myself.

I had some contact with the investigator, a Mr. Nyamwira, but the e-mail address' seems to be no longer valid. I have searched the TCAA website but only a brief mention of the accident was mentioned.

Does anyone know if and when a full report will be published? Thanks.

Dont know if this is much help but if you had the Reg number of the aircraft and preferably the serial number, and type. Im sure that somewhere in the states there will be a note kept on it refering to any accident report. It was manufactured in the U.S. Im sure there was also litigation based on the individuals involved.
Put out what you have here and lets see if we can find some links.

There is a NTSB prelimary report only on the the NTSB which states the investiagtion is under the jurisdiction of the FAA accredited Investigator in Tanzania, who, it would appear hasn't bothered to publish the report on the TCAA website. Makes you wonder why he bothered doing an investigation doesn't it?

Well, I cant help if I dont have any info. If you want to post numbers etc I will look. I know the FAA etc do go to that part of the world, but I cannot guarantee what I will find.
Dates, numbers etc are needed or your on your own.

The details are in the title of this thread. I do not have the serial number only the registration. The FAA have this on their website:

http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?ev_id=20051022X01705&key=1

I don't have any more details after that.

This site does not come up for me but also lists the aircraft serial number as #01828 a 1972 U206P

Each and every tanzanian operator gets the TCAA AIB Bulletin sent to them once it has been compiled.
Just enquire with any operator, they should have it on file.
