I have heard and read that Kingfisher Airlines hires beautiful people (models) as cabin members. Has anyone flown on Kingfisher to give us the facts? It's nice to see a change from what has happend in the US where laws prohibit age restrictions, weight etc.:D

Check out one gal who is a current FA for the airline with this link.

Yup, you don't see any old bags and fags on Indian and Asian airlines like you do in Europe and America.:) Not many anyway.

The limit for a new hire FA at kingfisher is 20 to 30 years old. And they ask for a full size photo which is not allowed in the US. Works for me..!:p

Wow, what a change from what I see here in the US. I was asked by a friend to see if you know an Eric from Costa Rica. I guess quite a few pilots came over to KF but I haven't heard if they like it. After looking at some of the FA babes I may have to come their myself haha. I wonder if KF is going to make it or be a flash in the pan??

The girls in the calender are not KF FAs...but from what I saw at DXB airshow last year the KF FAs are, at least, as good looking.:D

The hunt is on for new flight attendants ( Flying Models) I guess we can check the next Kingfisher Calendar....:hmm:

Flying Models
On board our Funliners all our flight attendents will be selected by what we call a "Flying Model" hunt. Only the best will be selected. Dressed in designer uniforms and trained by experts, these models will ensure the best of services on all our flights.

If you look at the Kingfisher Calendar 2007 issue you will see one (1) Selma Lasrado that is featured as a model in the Calendar and she is currently a Flight Attendant.

Taken from Website under calendar/models:

http://www.kingfishercalendar.com/2007/

Selma Lasrado is a fun loving, sassy girl. Her career as a flight attendant jump started nearly 2 years ago with Kingfisher Airlines and she is thoroughly enjoying this rich learning experience.

I agree that there may be only a few but their plan is to hire models. if you look at the hiring requirements on the website they explain they are searching for models for flight attendants positions.

Sounds like a good concept anyway..!

I'm sure readers of this forum appreciate your warm & heartfelt feelings about India, but what are they doing on a thread about Kingfishers Flying Models?

You have copied the same post from 2 other threads folowing your rant in this one at 2233hrs UTC - "Expat pilots in India!!!!" @ 2216hrs, & "U.S. Expat looking to working in India" @ 2230hrs, all on the 14th March.

This is a lighthearted thread - a bit of fun!! I suggest you stick your views in the thread that you started - "Expat pilots in India." This is not the place to start a slanging match about the pros & cons of living in India.

BTW, a lot of the negative aspects you raised about living in India, can be found in many parts of the world - inc the U.S.

Now, can we pls get back to the topic at hand...

Many thanks

I am not sold that you are the real Selma Lasrado?? Can you give us a little more data about yourself to prove it. I understand you live in Vancouver BC is that true? How about a couple photos......:) :)

Hmmm....

I got the same feeling as ON FINAL. I'm not so sure that you are the real Selma. We need some proof.

Pls provide the necessary, before everyone gets excited again.

Here's hoping

On Final;

I take it that the guy in the middle (picture 2 posts above) isn't actually a Pilot?

He looks remarkably like the top honcho of Kingfisher, which of course is much more then just an airline. Which probably means he's loaded (unlike most Pilots)

I suspect that the honey's sourrounding the guy aren't really there because of his looks either.

Fluf,

Yes you are right about the big man but they are currently doing a flying model search which is interesting. I am looking for direct contact with a few of the models to post their responses and photos here. I have enjoyed researching it and hope to juice things up a bit when I get the data.

Thanks,

On Final:D
