I have been flying domestically with a commercial airline for the last 5 years and am thinking about applying for the Aussie Air Force as Cabin Crew.
Does anyone have any info on what the conditions are like? Pay,monthly hours, length of trips etc etc etc???
Any info. would be greatly appreciated....:ok:

http://www.defence.gov.au/news/raafnews/editions/4406/story02.htm

Its from 2002, but the info at the bottom may well still be correct - its interesting reading thats for sure!

Also just came across this, which will probably be of more assistance:

They are apparently called CREWATT - or Crew Attendants

i looked into this a while ago.. and as much as i would like to do it have decided against. to sum it up, they do a hell of a lot more work for less money and benefits and there is no chance really of promotion/progression for your career.

Here's one as well.

Apparently they contract an A330 to the forces and carry the troops overseas.
