Hi all, I was contemplating the idea of applying for a SO position with Cathay. I was wondering if anyone could answer the following questions:
1. what is the pay for SO?
2. Do they provide housing?
3. If no housing is provided, how expensive to live in HK?
4. what's the QOL in HK
5. time to upgrade to FO/Capt
6. general rostering
7. do they fly expat pilots back home on a regular basis?
8. do you have to sign a contract

thanks a lot, and if i think of more questions i will post here

You will probably get the answers quicker by posting in the Fragrant Harbour Wannabe's forum.

Ciao Forza Lazio,

I don't know if you have heard about this website or not: http://www.willflyforfood.cc/pilotinterviews.php

It will tell you what the interview is going to consist of and where it will be held at. What I have heard is that you need to have more than 2000 hours to even be consider for an interview with them as a second officer AND YOU NEED TO BE AN ASTROANAUT TO GET HIRED. :{

Good Luck:ok:
