How true is this? Anyone knows what happened and what caused this? A source told me that the EK pilot/s got a black eye and was rushed to a hospital. Will the pilots be suspended? Did EK office recieved the incident report from the hotel?:ouch:

Also being impartial, just wondering what's with the 'attitude' of some of the GA crews staying there. Although not a witness to either event, i've had on two occassions now, negative feedback from my crew regarding behaviour and racist comments directed to individuals. The first involved fowl language and insults from two very drunk GA girls towards two EK hosties. The most recent involved a male Cabin Crew member who was subjected to a volley of verbal and racial abuse by the two GA Flight Crew. One was of Easten European origin ( He thinks Romanian) and the other local. The only 'crime' committed by the Emirates crew member was unknowingly use the crew room computer ahead of the guys who were waiting in the adjacent room watching a movie. This incident occurred towards the end of last month but the crew member was too afraid to make an official complaint. He was quite visible upset by the confrontation and to say the least, surprised it came from fellow aviators.

Hey BYMONEK, what about "what's wrong with the EK crews?" instead of your unfounded GF crew bashing. The EK crew was 100% wrong and asked himself to get his ass kicked by the GF crew (a true gentleman in my book).

so who started it? I heard they were drunk that's why it happened...it's a good thing the pilot:ouch: was released fit to fly the next day (with a limitation to wear sunglasses:cool: )

I'm only basing my comments from 2 actual reports from people who experienced it first hand. Perhaps it was wrong to word it like that as I know, and have met many guys from Gulf Air who are great guys which is why i'm surprised and asked the question. The two guys involved in the verbal abuse attack are giving the rest of your crews a bad name. Much the same way it will be for the Ek guy if it was indeed his fault. There a bad eggs everywhere and we have some too. :ok:
The GF cpt was having a good time with everybody. (GF and EK crew.)
The disgruntled EK FO came up to him and started to talk trash to him.
Apparently the EK FO was not having a good day.
The GF cpt ignored him, then proceeded to the restroom to relieve his bladder. The EK FO followed him to the lew and decided to slap him in the back of the head while he was urinating := .
The GF cpt did what he had to do.
That is the story from the GF side.
Kudos to Gf cpt.:D
He's lucky he did'nt lose a few teeth.
Some people are just not too smart, if said story is correct.

This sounds remarkably similar to the 2 QF girls fighting 2 EK girls in SYD, all for the attention of some EK pilots. Not a problem that GF appear to have.
Don't you just hate that?
I believe the original story (DAC) flew under the radar, lets keep it that way.

Wasn't the EK crew's wake up call a few hours after the brawl? That's why the F/O was happy to just get off with a shiner.

Really??? I heard they were drinking when the brawl happened...Don't tell me the crew were still under the influence of alcohol, with more than .04% in their blood, when they signed in for duty?!? That's against the UAE GCAA Law right? tsk tsk tsk:=

EK seem like a bunch of whiners, but I shouldnt generalize because most of the whiners that I have met are :ooh: ozzies:ooh: ...................;)

I have it on good authority that the EK F/O actually serviced two of the Gulf Air girls in one of the crews room. The GF purser was a litle put out since he missed the invitation and threatend the girls with the sack if they didnt include him. :{
A scuffle broke out and the EK pilot had to put the GF purser in his place. The EK pilot was not drinking at all........... as he was on medication for a mild chest infection ....however it is rumoured that the GF purser had a few under his belt.......... and has since been spoken to by the powers at the Palace.:D
He was told .........."you cant threaten the girls if they dont turn it up"........naughty puser :=
