A plane is reported to be in trouble in the skies above Los Angeles.
The jet's landing gear is down and it has apparently been circling for some time.

From Sky News U.K.

Any news anyone?

Looks like perhaps the nose gear is not fully extended and he's doing a couple of bounce and goes a la Kuwait Airways.

Just landed looks like all the gear held down OK.

Fire crew now sticking their heads up into the gear well to see what is wrong, not sure I would be doing that with unsafe gear...

Well, that was a non-event.

You could almost hear the dissapointment in the Sky reporters voice that it wasn't anything more excting than a normal landing....:ugh:

Just seen the Lear Jet land at Chino on Sky News, nose wheel was offset to the left as he approached, as the mains touched down the nose wheel seemed to centre and he made a perfect landing, all ended well...

He came down on the main gear pulled up and then came down again on the main and the nose gear centered and he got the nose on the ground and stopped. Nothing really happened but they originally were going to bring it down at Ontario International (Rwy 8L/26R 12198 x 150 ft, 8R/26L 10200 x 150 ft.) but latter decided to land it at Chino Airport (Rwy 8L/26R 4858 x 150 ft., 8R/26L 7000 x 150 ft., 3/21 6023 x 150 ft.) It looks like http://www.stajets.com operates the aircraft.
