Need more info,

Where was the aircraft registered
Was your TYPE RATING current in accordance with 14 CFR 61.58
If a UK CAA licence, was this a CPL/IR or ATPL (full not frozen)

Thanks

Its an FAA Com, and hold the P1 rating done at Flightsafety. Aircraft is N registered (US)
Also interested to know with Regards to South African CAA, but more inmpotantly FAA.

Your help will be greatly appreciated!

"....and hold the P1 rating done at Flightsafety. Aircraft is N registered (US)"

Then Yes, you may.

I'm afraid I have no experience of the South African system.

With regards the South African system, it depends on whether the machine is listed on your SA license. The fact that you have done the rating at flight safety does not guarantee that it is automatically accepted by SACAA, although it usually is, furthermore if you are logging that time on an "N" reg machine with an FAA type rating, that time on type is still recognised by the SACAA.

As long as your FAA certificate doesn't say under "Limitations" CE500 SIC privileges only, you're fine.

Thanks guys.
This is what I thought, but the other Chap I fly with (ATP) said I can only Log PIC if I've got an ATP.
So now I can go tell him off.

Cheers :ok:
