Hi all,

I've searched this site, but come up with nothing so am looking for some info.

I'll be specific (not rude I hope!). I am after any DETAILED info (ie previous questions/ types of questions) that have been asked at the Virgin interview.

Is the a good gouge sheet (as there is for CX) for virgin?

What is the profile for the sim?

Again, not trying to sound terse or rude, but am not interested in answers like "a typical psych questions" or "it is a STAR interview" .

Unfortunately I'm not that smart, so detailed examples of questions is what I really need.

Thanks in advance

Give him a chance... His question is very legitimate. I can't comment as I don't work for DJ.

Come on DJ guys, give the man some info. We're all here to help out.

WWA :ok:

I hope you get the answers you are looking for. It is a tough industry to get started in and you should never be ridiculed for asking questions.
Best,
CK.

Chocks away; the info he is seeking is freely available and openly discussed for other airlines such as Emirates, Cathay,Qantas and others. Why should he not ask the same about Virgin? Maybe he doesn't know anyone in there.

Tough industry to get a start in???:} You're kidding me!
IT WAS TOUGH in the past but times haven't been better for jobs in Oz.
Heck, in 16 years of flying I have never seen so many entry level jobs being advertised in Fridays Australian over the passed 4 months.

Yes, understood Klink.
Let me explain: in the next year Cathay need 300+ pilots, VB a third of that. The demand to live and work in/around Australia is still huge, so the competition greater and hence the silence. The silence from VB drivers also due to working max hours and being burnt out.

....... and that we also have no idea about the process because none of us have been through it!

Chocks Away I believe that it is because of attitudes such as yours and Mr Buzzy's that we see our great industry in the current sub-standard conditions.
Instead of offering useless diatribe why not offer answers to the question. If you don't have them then keep your useless opinions to yourself.
Until we as a group stop stepping on each other and start standing together things will never improve. This is the perfect place to start that by helping someone to better their situation. Instead all I see is other pilots ready to belittle and hinder. Great bunch we are.
Shouldhe great reply.:ok:

If you had a VB interview then surely they'd give you this info. If you don't then surely this info would be rather superfluous.

...and after posting:
You are correct, I do want to live and work in Australia, so that means Q, JQ, VB... Q are not hiring at the moment (I've been on hold for 18 months... life has to go on - can't wait forever!) VB are not that attractive any more (to me at least) as it is about an 8 year slog to command.... so that leaves pornstar.
Why would you want it?

Sir...I put it to you that you are infact some lazy @rse HR guy from a HR company trolling for specific airline HR questions so that you can steel HR work from said HR departments thereby leaving airline HR people out of work and destitute, forcing them to live on the streets as beggars due to their lack of transferable skills and general usefulness to society...
...And that's alright by me:ok:

Hi moderator,

I posted a reply to P joe the other day, and it was there the day after (thursday last week) but it is now gone.

Do you know if it was removed??

Thanks
