Hello All

I am looking for some information with regard to CX medical. If they ask for more medical information would they give you a job offer first than ask you to go and see your doctor and send them the results or they need to see the results before job offer is made. Thank all for any help.

If the reason would preclude employment then they would need to see the medical results before offering you a job. As has been said before, it may not stop you from flying now because you obviously have a valid medical. It is because they have to insure your licence for loss of medical therefore must show due diligence to the insurance company that you are unlikely to need to make a claim in the future.

@piloton,

itīs not an automatic disqualifier. They will send you an additional form for your optometrist/RK surgeon to fill out.

Piloton,

I had laser surgery 9 months before being interviewed with CX and it has never caused any troubles, except that I have to go and see a specialist in HKG in addition to the normal medical each year.
