:D I heard from a friend living there, that the situation is looking better (not good yet... but better)
Rumors that I heard...
Aerolineas Argentinas is training around 50 new f/os for their B737-2 (also they are going to need more crew for their A310 and 737-5 besides the 737-200).

LAN Argentina is interviewing pilots for their A320s fleet (B767?).

Sol Lineas Areas (Saab 340), I heard they lost a few f/o and Cptns that went to Aerolineas Argentinas, so a shortage could be true.

T&C's: Salary is very low compared with Int'l salaries but the cost of living is low (you might be able to rent a house or big appartment pls meals with 1/2 of your monthly salary)
Req: An Argentinean work permit may be neccesary as well as an ICAO ATPL (Argentinean First Class CPL). So far Spanish is a must together with english.

Good Luck to all of you who can...

What I have previously been told is that in Argentina one must be an Argentinian citizen to be working as a pilot.
