I was just wondering if someone could give me some information about instructor hours? I'm from the US. A couple of places in China need instructors. If I instruct there would CX recognize these hours down the road since I'm a US citizen? Thanks to anyone who may be able to help.

My guess is it depends upon what you are instructing. If it is light aircraft, then that would just be included in your total time. So if you were flying a 182 doing night freight or instructing, the hours mean pretty much the same to an interviewer. If you are on a 737 or larger then it would look good on a CV.

Instructing on jets in a cross cultural environment has challenges that are of interest to most airlines.
