just got wind that Pres. Mbeki is against Blair for stopping the joint investigation of the SFO and our Scorpions on the BAe and bribery scandal that took place with the sale of the fighter jets, Pres. Mbeki acused blair of hyprocrisy.

it should be interesting to see what comes out if the investigation would continue and what Blair has to say about Mbeki's comments.

The whole thing stinks. Just goes to show that all politicians are equally corrupt, even our European bretheren.

All Saudi Arabia had to do was threaten to cancel the Eurofighter order and suddenly all investigations into past indiscretions are dropped.

It all goes hand in hand with SA govt's decision to boycot anything American/Western. Just like Zim, they want to blame all imagined evils on the Western world and turn their collective back on the west, 'looking east' as they say. Good example set by our northern neighbours!!
