Hey all, got a couple of questions to ask about turbine endorsments. Any help is greatly appriciated;

1) I am currently overseas flying twin turbines and plan to head back to Australia soon. What do I have to do once I get home to get turbine endorsement on my licence? Is that even required?

2) Also will I need to do any extra training to fly a single engine turbine (caravan)? Just basic endorsement of a couple of hours?

Cheers Flick

Imagine walk into CASA office and show logbook/foreign license with type rating on it. I think you need around five hrs to be credited for an endorsement, i.e if you flew a king air etc.

Duxnutz is correct. I transferred a foreign Dornier 228 endorsment onto my Australian licence . It was 10 years ago, but it was simply walk in with my logbook and both licences. I small fee too I recall!
