Hi everyone,

Does anyone have an interview with VB next month?

Does anyone know what to expect? The Sim exercise looks full on.

What do you make of the behavioural interview?

Any thoughts ???

Thanks

Virgin are upgrading 8 FO's to command per month for 2007 so lots of new FO's required. On top of this they will be recruiting for the Embraer in the coming months. I would guess perhaps 180-200 FO's required over the next 18-24 months. God knows where they will find them all!
What's involved in the sim exercise then?

On top of Virgin's recruitment for the next two years, where will Jetstar get pilots for their next phase of expansion?? This experience drain is going to have a big impact on all levels of aviation.

Strongly recommend an hour's dual instruction on basic Boeing 737 handling in a 737 simulator before any assessment sim check by VB which is conducted in their 737-800 sim. 737 Classic sims are all you need to pick up the skills needed. Qantas and Ansett flight sim centres have Classics sims and are good. Recommend you request no motion to reduce cost as it is instrument scan that VB look for and you don't need to pay the extra $180 just for pushing throttles and flying at 170 Knots on motion.
