Hi fellow ppruners!

I happened to see an advertisement in the news paper abt this particular airline SAFI AIRWAYS seeking Cabin crew. Its supposed to be located in Dubai. But I haven't heard of it before.
Is there any one out there who can pass on info abt this airline and details regarding its cabin crew recruitment, salary, package, etc..

Thanks a million.

Hello everyone !:D

Recieved an email on the 4th December saying I was selected for a purser position with SAFI Airways throught PARC AVIATION(Dublin).

B767-200ER

Course is due to start early next week somewhere in Gatwick...

Tried contacting PARC but so far unsuccessful.

I am sharing with you all the E mail I recieved 2 days ago :

Safi Airways have short listed you for employment:

The package would be as follows

Title:Purser

Basic Salary:US $ 2,200.00 per month tax free
Per DiemUS $ 50.00 per flying day when away from base station (Dubai)
Special Kabul Allowance:US $ 100 per flying day except for flight terminating at the base station Dubai.
Housing:1 Bedroom furnished apartment with utilities paid
Holidays:30 days paid annual leave with one round trip airline ticket to home destination
Other:All ground transportation provided for duty; and
Medical and Insurance provided.

They would require you to be available for training from 9th December at a location in London Gatwick.

Can you please advise if you would like to pursue your application based on the above?

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

That is a crappy salary considering where you would be flying ( ie afghanistan)

I don't know how often you would get the $100 a day when flying to Kabul. But the salary without that based on a 20 day month is the same as you would get as cabin crew with Emirates or Etihad and thats not even being purser.

Solander,

Have you started your course yet? How is it?

I know they are planning flights to Europe in the future...

Safi has now more than a single 762...it operates now two 733's also, and besides the fact its "suffering" from the competition of fellowships Ariana and KamAir, its main goals remains to be one of the leading airlines in that region.
Some nice and friendly crew from Bolivia to Canada:)

Hi Paulo - I went to the Open Day in Dubai today, they were only seeing people who had flying experience, and only accepting people with a current flying licence, for start next week. They said they would get back to me if they decide to put people through a outside training course, who have extensive previous experience - they dont have their own training school so everything would have to be outsourced. If you have a current licence then it is definitely worth to try and get in touch with them through the number on the website. Otherwise see you on Friday at FlyDubai!

I know that Touch Aviation were recruiting for SAFI CC. Aviation Jobs Including Pilots, First Officers, Helicopter Pilots, Management & More... (http://www.touch-aviation.com)

However, be careful with this recruitment company. One man band, no aviation or recruitment background!! Maybe that's why SAFI are doing their own thing!

If SAFI are doing open days then this is better - wish you all the best of luck!

Cheers
