Info on Seronera Airstrip

Hi All
Can any of the guys/gals up in Tanzania please help me with some information on the condition of the airfield at Seronera?
We are going up there next month with a DC-4 and have just heard that apparently, the runway is not in good shape, due to potholes.
Can anyone please give me a heads up?

Seronera at the moment is under repairs with only 800m available. At times its so slippery caravans are struggling and the apron is a disaster. A DC-4 at most strips in TZ except the main sealed runways is suicide.I also think there is a weight limit of 7t or 8t I suggest you fly the DC-4 to Kilimanjaro airport and charter a plane from there.
