For all you nostalgic types.....

CATHAY Pacific Fourth Boeing Converted Freighter : B-HUR
Our fourth BCF, B-HUR, came back from Xiamen on Monday. B-HUR is an ex-SAA passenger aircraft and a ‘sister ship’ of B-HUS, which went into service some four months ago. B-HUR entered commercial operations today, operating to KIX. B-HUR is RR-powered.............

From another source.....................The latest aircraft to begin service with the CX fleet this Boeing 747-400BCF, arrived in Hong Kong on Monday and, after going through all the necessary checks, begins revenue flights today (Friday, 19 January) with a trip to Osaka. After settling in the aircraft on regional routes, Cargo will employ the aircraft on long-haul trunk services.

It is a Rolls-Royce-powered aircraft and took about four months to do the conversion at TAECO. The aircraft was flight tested in Xiamen and then ferried back to Hong Kong for final checks and CAD inspection for its certificate of airworthiness.

The next two CX BCFs, B-HKJ and B-HKS, will both be delivered in 2007. B-HKJ is already in Xiamen for BCF conversion with an expected completion date of June. B-HKS will be delivered to Xiamen in February and is expected to be ready for service in July..............

She is wearing her Silver bullet birthday suite in CX weight saving mode. Will try and post a picture if I figure out how.
