The plane is a Dassault Mystere Falcon 20 or 200. It is interesting as the current plane with that registration is a Beech Super King Air.

The ex Army King Air has a pic on airliners.net

Thanks Fellas but I'm actually after images of that particular jet whilst it was carrying that rego if possible, not just that type.

Try Hawker Pacific flight department Bankstown.
Wasn't it a Hawkers sale Falcon 200.
Peter Dodge should be able to help.

Is that Bondy in the pink shirt? And Eileen in front of him? If it is you could start by making a few inquiries in Meekatharra. Some of his aquaintences might remember the jet - look for the burnt out old FJ. It's probably a red one :}

That Falcon was obviously registered to or imported by Dirty Harry's at some stage, hence the "HP" registration?

I may be totally wrong here, but wasn't that aircraft owned by a Cairns doctor around eight years ago, to be used for international medivac, that operation died and the aircraft was ferried overseas?

If it is a Falcon 20 its probably now converted to pots, pans and beer cans!

Dunno .... but you may be looking for the third Falcon in this deal?

With the delivery in 1989 of the new Falcon 900 VIP transports, the three Mysteres 20Cs were traded in to Hawker Pacific. In December 1989, with their RAAF markings removed, the aircraft were ferried to Sydney with civil registrations: A1-078 as VH-JSX, A11-085 as VH-JSY and A11-090 as VH-JSZ. All had been delivered by 14 December, and were due to fly to the UK in early January 1990. This did not occur and the aircraft were sold to Pel-Air Aviation, an Australian freight and charter operator. In December 1990 Pel-Air sold two of the Falcon 20Cs, VH-JSX and VH-JSY, to Hunter Aviation of Maryland, USA, where they were re-registered as N6555C and N6555L.

Seen this (http://dbromage.omni.com.au/aviation/ex-vh/DF2.html)?

Forget that - from the engines, that photo appears to be a Falcon 200, not a coal fired Falcon 20.

Sorry! :ugh:

Pretty sure that was a Falcon 200 that was operated by Ariadne Group(spelling?) in the late '80s. They had it for a while and went onto a Falcon 50 before everything went bust. The rego changed after delivery, it was maintained by Hawkers in Brisbane, the new rego will come to me. I don't think it was HPJ for very long.

The Bond 200 was BGF s/n 504 (from memory) which had blue stripes.

The redhead standing near the door was their FA, she was really cute. The guy in the light blue shirt looks like a Hawker's employee of the time who is now the Raytheon Tech Rep - G'day Noel!

HPJ belongs to a R44 now but it didn't back in 1988. Registrations can be reassigned to other aircraft when another relinquishs it.

Dog is right, they are the regos the aircraft held during its life. Not at all unusual.

At one time CAA/CASA or whatever banned transfer of regos for a number of fairly good reasons at the time. No longer so.

I, as a light hearted joke, mistakenly as it turned out, bought as one of her Christmass goodies a new shopping cart for wife on which I put a personalised plate BRMMSTK.

It now graces the vehicle of a younger lady (got half my money back) with, it seems a similarly perverse sense of humour as I.:{

I bet none of you knew that the Licensing Department is actually open first thing Boxing Day.:p
