Thinking about a bit of a career change. After 15 years at the airlines I think there has to be something else out there. I know most of you are from outside the United States but I'm really looking for info on flying in the US. And yes, to a few of you, I have used the mighty search function already. Still looking for more info.
So, most jobs want time in type, at least on the job postings. Is this a hard and fast requirement or just a way to weed out the resume pile?
What is the life really like? Schedules or a beeper 24/7?
Realistic pay in the Florida area?
