A quick question

If I have done the ATPL theory in the UK and got my medical there too and then do CPL/IR in Greece, try and get a Greek JAA licence, can I then convert it back to a UK JAA with a bit of paperwork and thats it without problems?

I thought I could not do a theory in one country and then do the flying in another.

Does anyone definitely know what the story is? Especially with the Greek authorities if they have done this themselves?

Well as i understand you can do your ATPL exams in the uk then do your cpl/ir in greece (a couple are doing just that here in Egnatia) then you fill in the above paperwork and walla...however you can't do your ATPL's here in Greece then do your cpl in the uk but you can do your ir...stupid if you ask me but then i have been studying air law recently and the whole thing is nut... :S :ok:
