Guys, am fitting an experimental aircraft for NVFR and I need to decide on what to use for the NVFR bit. How would you find the cheapest and most basic GPS type that is TSO'ed? Would a re-coed be the go from say Spruce, or a basic used one from a Seneca say like one of those old Apollo's... any ideas? It's either that or a huge big and clunky KR86 ADF with huge wad or aerial hanging off the back of the aircraft. It will be used for NVFR perhaps once in a blue moon. I have all of the other required gear.
