Hello,
due to the actual "missing" Adam Air, we just discusing other cases of missing Jetairliner.
We get three cases, but find very sparsley informations about this cases:
At the 30.01.1979 a VARIG 707 freighter aircraft vanished without a trace over the pacific 30 minutes after it´s take off from Tokyo.
At the 11.09.1990 a Faucett Peru Boeing 727 sended a distress call during a position flight over the Northern Atlantic Ocean. The crew reported, they were low on fuel and start to descend, preparing to ditch. Nothing was heard of this aircraft, but there was an report from a crew of a soviet fishtrawler, which spotted a part of the fuselage drifting on the ocean. I have heard, that the Faucett crew was forced to flew on lower altitude due to pressusaration problems, then going lost and running finaly out off fuel.
A Antonov An-72 Freighter dissapeared at the 22.12.1997 over the South Atlantic off coast of West Africa. Probably shot down by angolan interceptors.
Anybody out there who can tell more about the were abouts of this strange occurences?
Thanks,
