I see that Ethiopian Airlines are still looking for captains through DPI.....are they really serious about US$5000/month for a wide body captain AND flying in Africa!? Shouldn't it be more in the US$9000+ range if they want suitable candidates!?

They could easily get back all the pilots they lost to the middle-east airlines for much less than that.
