Jet Airways (India) Ltd., the nation's largest domestic airline, ordered 10 Boeing Co. 787-8s valued at as much as $1.58 billion to expand its overseas services.

The aircraft will be delivered between July 2011 and December 2012, the Mumbai-based airline said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The 787-8 has a list price of as much as $157.5 million, Boeing said on its Web site.

What do you guys think of routes for them?

They have been looking at UK routes (Birmingham being one) but have been held back by the Indian Gov't. Hopefully it will all be sorted soon :ugh:

I was hoping for Jet to link Mumbai with EMA, but it seems thjat flyUKIA are getting somewhere and intend to start (flights to Asia), as their first a/c is registered.

seats recline fully flat, not so on Emirates B747.
EK have non cargo passenger 747's ?
