Tel Aviv-Paris rapid depressurization

Just got word of a TLV-PAR (CDG or ORY) flight that had to divert to ATH due to a rapid depress. Rubber Jungle, pax freaked out.

Correction: It was a VDA (Ovda)- PAR flight. Apparently one engine may have failed too. A/C was a 757. Pax boarding a new plane now to fly to Paris.

מטוס של חברת ישראייר ביצע (31.12.06) נחיתת חירום בנמל התעופה באתונה, בשל תקלה. מבדיקה ראשונית עולה כי במטוס, שהיה בדרכו לפריז, הייתה בעייה בלחץ האוויר ו-206 הנוסעים נאלצו לחבוש מסכות עד לנחיתה.

מטוס חלופי של החברה יצא כדי לאסוף את הנוסעים מאתונה ולהטיסם לפריז.

For those who dont:

Israir flight diverted to Athens. There was a problem with the pressurisation and the 206 passengers had to don oxygen masks. A replacement aircraft was dispatched to pick up the passengers in Athens and resume the service to Paris.
