Hi Folks ,

I`ve been presented with a contract with Asiana. Do you all have any idea how the conditions are there?

About lifestyle , environment in the company , etc...

Thanks

  You mean to say you went there, did your medical, air law exam and now are not up to date with living in SK? Many 330 drivers have made the move there last year from another asian carrier, why don't you give them a shout.

If your aircraft is shorthaul (A320/737) rather than longhaul then I expect you will live in Seoul, based on previous personnel you will be rostered all the really great back of clock flying and other stuff that the locals pass on to the hired help.
The training - what training?
You will do X number of sims and your previous experience and ability will see you either pass or fail.
Mentality is quite aggressive, large numbers of ex military which, along with their cultural heritage makes CRM an interesting conceptual theory.
Like all airlines once out on line probably some interesting flying/good guys, cannot comment more than that.
If the contractual T&C are anything like the 737 (especially in terms of pay) then you are selling yourself short in todays market.
Personally would think if longhaul (get out of the place) then maybe OK, to live in Seoul (once again personally) would be a tough gig - others may see it differently.

Note: the above based on a few years ago but cannot think much would have changed; if anyone has thoughts from within would be interested to hear how they see things.

Best of luck with your decision.
