Just replied to the idiot asking about the go around at MAN. The problem is that it's not only us in the idustry that read these hallowed pages.
The sad part is that some journalist also use this as a "source". Don't be surprised to read the usual "hero pilot saves hundreds in dramatic incident at Manchester" sort of crap in tomorrows papers
For the sake of everyone, please think before you post! That said I think that the go around debate has been done to death in another thread, so lets not go there shall we??

Edited to say see the "Manchester" thread has dissapeared then!

I know what you mean, but I often wonder if, by slagging off journalists who come on here after info, it doesn't make them worse. After all they are the ones writing the copy for the paper so if annoyed they will think ok lets pi$$ them off even more.

Frankly half the treads in R&N deteriorate into utter rubbish after the first couple of pages anyway, because half the posters are doing exactly what they accuse the jurnos of doing, :ugh:

It's not just you, you should try reading Dunnunda, anytime an aircraft does a go around anywhere in the country, there seems to be a new thread...:hmm:
