What has happened to Australian Airlines?
it seems its failed down or has be sold out at QF?

Well, old news really. AO brand ceased to exist from June onwards. All the public sees is Qantas now however the company still exists though i.e. AO employed crew with AO specific procedures etc. The flying AO does is Osaka, Nagoya, Narita and Manila. Jetstar are taking over Osaka and Nagoya late next year with new destinations to be announced for AO.
