Would like to find out if possible.
What are the possible basings that you could be placed as an FO with jetstar and any ideas on the approximate salary?

Hoots, this has been done to death, suggest you do a search, as you will get nothing but childish petty remarks asking about Jet*.
Anywhere in Oz except Perth, Darwin, possibly Christcurch, probably Avalon, Hobart or Mel for a newbie, 83K + O/T.

Hootsmun,
The possible basings would be
Cairns, Brisbane/Coolangatta ie SEQ , Newcastle ?, Sydney, Melbourne/Avalon ie VIC, Hobart, Christ Church.
F/O slots seem to be available in SEQ however command positions are not.Everywhere else is pretty much open.
F/O pay $82116 before tax and the possibilty of overtime after 75 hrs per month at a rate of $97 per hour.
All the above increases by 3% come 1 Aug 2007.
