EK A330 had a malfunction after takeoff from Damascus (Syria) last week, but they land safely any news about the incident?:D

The Al-Jazeera website posted the news a few days ago. They stated it was an EY aircraft with about 150 pax. Upon takeoff, they said the engine was 'starved' of fuel and it had to be shutdown. They returned and landed safely with no incident.

What's with the clapping? I presume you're happy that they landed safely, and not because the EK a/c had a malfunction?
