I have had the EOS range for years now, never found a TWAIN driver for Win XP. However the twain driver is for Win 2K, there are times when 2K drivers can be used on XP, give it a go, is there however a reason you need twain as i havnt found any reasons?

I've a different camera, canon ixus, but there are many references in the software and handbook to TWAIN driver/s. And the references all say they are already installed in XP as part of the OS. Thought I'd lost/accidentally erased my driver at one stage, couldn't get the software to work properly, so went on quite a hunt for same, before the kind support folk at canon put me right.

Trying to track it down so some third party software can recognize the camera.

My disc for EOS300D gives the following url for Canon assistance :

http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/readme/index-e.html

Might help although on reflection don't think it does.

Is it a specific EOS30D twain driver ? or is it a Canon twain driver ? if it is generic then I could e-mail the copy I have.
