I'll have to go for a CAA Medical check before i can do my solo flight for my UK PPL.
Can anyone tell me exactly (or as closely as you can) what goes on when you go for a medical.

P.S. Does anyone have an idea of what the medical will roughly cost? From what I understand the charges vary, but what price can I expect? I will be sitting my Class 2 soon.

My doc charged £110 inc ECG. Might have been "mates rates" as also my GP. Still waiting for result - had to go to CAA Gatwick, *might* get a nice Christmas present.
