Just heard from Wally Grout, via Bill Davies that Pete Cartwright passed away last Saturday following a heart attack. Pete was a long time member of Ops Wg at RAF Bruggen during the 80's and 90's and had been living, in retirement, in an appartment in Moenchen Gladbach with his wife Karin.

A very sad loss but what an incredible character.

His son sent out an 'all-call' e-mail to his father's contact list letting all know of his father's death.

I had corresponded with him regarding Brigand ops in FIREDOG. Wish I'd met him in person.
