What was it with all the CASA boys and gals along with the Customs people today auditing/checking all the baggage containers in Brisbane .
Told that 120 odd cans in SYD scrapped along with 40 odd in BNE resulting in system chaos as a result of the shortages in baggage containers this caused.
Great idea/cost cutting inititive that was, getting rid of engineering and ensconcing the auditing/checking responsibilities of baggage container airworthiness to baggage services.
